Ok. Our field trip last week was awesome but I did not get a chance to blog about it. We went to the Judean Desert which is said to be the area where Christ was tempted after fasting for forty days by the devil. We also went to Jericho, the oldest city in the world, with structures dating back to 9000 BC... What??? I can't even process such numbers.
Look at this monastery in the Judean wilderness. The road below used to be a common trade route. Remember the good Samaritan?
This is a wilderness if I ever saw one.
